I am thrilled to announce the launch of vitalib, a suite of AI tools designed to make knowledge gathering faster, more efficient, and more intuitive. As a researcher, engineer, and operator, I understand the challenges that come with dealing with large amounts of data and the importance of being able to extract valuable insights from it.
My passion for AI began nearly a decade ago, and it has been an exhilarating journey ever since. From being a part of the lab that evaluated the breakthrough results of AlphaFold2 at CASP14 to the development of our own SE(3)-Transformer to model protein-protein interactions, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact that AI can have across scientific fields and engineering applications. It is this passion and experience that inspired me to help create vitalib.
With the recent announcement of the ChatGPT API, Harang and I saw an opportunity to create something that would be a game-changer for our everyday work. By leveraging the power of LLMs, vitalib enables users to apply these models to data sources and apply them to a growing number of other use cases. The goal is to make knowledge gathering easier, faster, and more efficient for everyone, regardless of their background or experience.
At the core of the vitalib suite is vitadoc, a feature that brings the power of ChatGPT to your documents by via a LangChain interface connected to gpt-3.5-turbo. With vitadoc, users can perform question answering over their documents, saving time and enabling them to get to valuable insights faster. And the best part? This tool is completely free with more features on the way.

We will soon release vitaprompt to supercharge your AI prompts, vitavid, and vitapod to bring to life your videos and podcasts, respectively. Additionally, we will be providing more support for additional data sources, flexible prompt management and optimization, as well as new chain (beyond a single LLM call), agent, and memory applications. Finally, Harang and I are developing a tool which will serve as the research copilot, which will allow users to subscribe to relevant areas of interest, ask questions, get feedback, perform reviews and even get suggestions.
